The EPA’s 2021 Lead and Copper Rule Revisions (LCRR) require each community and non-transient water system to conduct a Lead Service Line Inventory of their distribution system by October 16, 2024. The Lead Service Line Inventory is a record of the material of every service line in your distribution system, including both utility-owned and customer-owned service lines. Each must be categorized as lead, non-lead, galvanized downstream of lead, or lead status unknown.
